OMG .. i cant take it .. i do something that was truely out of the kindness of my heart .. and what do i get for it? i get fricken trash talked .. i mean seriously .. if something akward happens between two people, do you really expect things to get back to normal in a couple of days? no it takes time .. and you know what? im sorry if i am kind of busy .. you know im actually trying to keep up in school and get good grades. and for once, i am. i am doing better than both quarters last semester and its because i am actually taking school seriously. what do you want from me? would you rather me not concentrate on school and spend my time doing other things to "show" that what i said was true? i mean are my words not good enough? do you not believe me? you dont even know what i had to do this past week. i had to REDO my ENTIRE english research paper from the beginning because i changed my topic. do you know how long that took me? and this IS NOT an excuse. if you think it is, then whatever. im sorry if i dont talk to you every single day, but you know its not like i have an obligation to do it every single day. was that letter not good enough for you? do i have to "show it" 24/7? i mean if you dont think what i said was true, then i dont know what to say .. i mean im sorry if im not a good enough friend to you where i cant even meet your standards, but that letter was honestly true. i seriously dont know what to do .. WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO? you tell me what to do to be a good enough friend to you and i'll do it.

well, camp was kind of a reality check for me. ever since then, ive been trying to make my life better. tryin to change my old ways and keep on going with my new way of life.

that old saying "it's not worth losing a friend over a guy" is so totally true. my whole love life has been a total roller coaster ride. if you would even call it a love life. many ups and downs. mostly downs. but now it's totally better. but heres the story ..
i was the best of friends with this girl. i liked this one guy, she liked another. the guy i liked started liking her and she said that she wouldn't go out with him, because she liked this other guy. but a couple days later, my heart was practically torn out and trampled on. u can probably guess what happened. our friendship wasn't as strong before and it kind of diminished. can't blame her though cause he was a totally awesome guy. but still, our friendship wasn't that great. so i stopped liking him because .. "it's not worth losing a friend over a guy".

time passes by ..

then, maybe a year or a year and a half later, i started to like him again. but then, my other friend liked him too. we know eachother like this guy and stuff. we are really good friends, but i felt that there is tension between us. plus, people are talking, which doesn't make things better. this guy is still a real kick ass guy and all, but still .. "it's not worth losing a friend over a guy". so i thought about it, prayed about it, and asked friends for advice and finally came to my own conclusion. if its mean to be, then it'll happen in its own time. if its not, then its good that i have moved on. and ever since then, i have felt so much better about things .. and life in general. and i have been actually a lot happier. plus, we're still totally awesome friends.

on a lighter note, drivers ed has been totally awesome. i actually started driving! first, around the block near hba, and then from kaimuki to ward! all on my own .. oh yeah. we had a trip to the medical examiners office, and we got to see/smell some disgusting things. we saw these dead babies from like 3 and 4 months old. one was all dried and shriviled, the other looked like a mini baby with fingers and all. we saw brains, hearts, etc. AND for the grand finale .. we saw dead bodies in the refrigerators .. that was kind of .. gross. all pale and stuff. PLUS .. we got to smell decomposing bodies .. that was soo terrible. but, drivers ed has been totally worth it. its so fricken fun to drive .. a little tip for everyone .. WATCH OUT cause im gonna be on the road!

as for school, it has been all right. grades are okay. gotta bring them up uP UP!

well, here's another update. since steph told me to.

school has been going good so far. i'm shootin for a 4.0 instead of a 3.5. even tho i didn't even get a 3.5 last quarter, i think maybe if i shoot for a higher gpa, then maybe i'll get a higher grade. if i don't get a 3.5 this quarter, my moms gonna punish me big time.

PROM aka JUNIOR/SENIOR BANQUET is coming up. should i ask someone from outside of school? idk. i know i'm going cause i'm help planning the music and i'm going to be there the whole day decorating, so i might as well go. i wouldnt mind goin w/a certain someone, but i dont think it's gonna happen. im okay with it. can't help the inevitable. oh well. on a brighter note, date or no date, im going to try my best to have a good time. if i do have a date, i want to be able to have fun w/the person.

SURF FEST
one word : AWESOME
the bands were pretty good. except the vandals. they sucked. i wanted to throw rocks at them and throw them off the stage. they played so long! what a waste of time. but YELLOWCARD was so freaking awesome. it was super fun in the moshing/sweating/pushing crowd. was w/keisha and reese. we worked our way to the front and i even got to the railing. i got a pick from the yellowcard guitarists! that was so awesome. had to leave early so i had to get one of the security gurads to lift me over the railing but that was fun too. i'm bummed i missed New Found Glory, but i got a poster signed by them thanks to JADE. what an awesome girl. oh and thanks to her friend Travis who came up with a brilliant plan. overall, it was awesome hangin out w/Jess, Keisha, Micah, Bobby, Bain, Derrick, Brent, Colin, Reese, Kerry, and other seniors at Surf Fest.

WINTER BANQUET
first year i went stag. it was fun tho. not having to worry about getting a lei and taking pictures. this year was super fun. jus chilled w/ my 2 "dates" kris and tracey. there was choke traffic so i got there about an hour late. did my make up in the car. and then bought a camera and met up w/ kris in the lobby. we went up and people had already started eating. but its okay. tracey came and we ate. there was a lot of picture taking w/frens. still gotta develop the film. then dancing started. that was super fun. then took pix with my frens. the only downside of the dancing was not havin someone to dance with to the slow songs. but thats okay. rhi made up for that haha. afterwards, went on a trolleyride. that was fun. but got worried cause i thot i was going to be homeless for the night. but thanks to Angie, she saved my butt and gave me a place to stay. went to a karaoke place, but then decided to go Zanzabar, but then jus went to zippys and then angies house. day after, went kahala, homecoming pepper squad meeting at school, then boys Soccer game. good job guys.

+ birthday partie +
[friday]
got to my own party late. we didn't do much until everyone came to the hotel. there was a lot of eating done. then some of us went to the Fall Fire. that was awesome. then went back to the hotel. some poeple, including me, were throwing grapes from our balcony into the pool. and we were on the 22th floor. a security guard was looking up from the pool so that scared us. then later, there was a police car by the street :|. scary ... watched resident evil. that was a good movie. kind of gross tho. watched another movie and ate again. we ate a lot ... then went sleep.

[saturday]
woke up and ate again. walked to walls and got there late. that would be the second time i was late for my own party. met up w/ the guys. we played vball, ate, and swam at the beach. here's a little helping hint : IF YOU'RE GOING TO THROW WATER FROM A COOLER ONTO SOMEONE, YOU MIGHT WANT TO GET A FIRM HOLD OF THE COOLOER SO IT DOESN'T HIT ANYONE IN THE BACK OR FACE. i think u get the picture of what happened ... lets just say it was quite sore after and there was a cut and bruise on my back. other than that, it was really fun. after my party, went to steph's house to work on our science fair project. we stayed till like 1 somethin again. i got a whole bunch of volcom and hollister stuff for my birthday. yay!

[wednesday]
after school, went to d&b with my family, ryan [aka barbie] and tracey. that was fun. had fun reading the papers they leave on the table. afterwards, met up with aaron, mark, brandon, and sam. went to restaurant row but then left. we saw coach keith, mr.mukai, and mr. coryelle. they gave us the idea of a game. then went to walmart to play the little game. we had teams of 2 and we had to see who bought the best thing that was under 2 bucks. i still say we won. we went up to random people to see what they thought. that was fun.

[thursday]
college fair was pretty cool. saw choke hbaans there [tracey, jo, nicole, angie, aaron, brandon, mark, jessa, kris, jess, kenton, micah, casey, jayme, kat, ailsa, deanne, sande]. then went to L&L and coldstone at ward with mark, brandon, and tracey and went home.

[friday]
what did i do? ... did i go ouT? idk i dont remmeber. theres my ADDness kicking in ...

[saturday]
went to piano and then met up w/ jazzy at kahala to buy our fruits for our science fair project. spent $30 on stupid fruits! then got to stephs house at 6:30ish. worked on our project the whole time i was there except for a dinner break. it took so long! i left at 2:30 in the morning. so crazy. and mr. johnson said that we didnt have enough work for a group of 3. i'd like to see him take the juice out of 2 of 15 different fruits. it may sound easy, but try taking juice out of an apple or green bell pepper.

[sunday]
woke up exhausted. went to church. then went to the OVC 16's tryouts at 3:30. then stayed for the 17/18's tryouts at 5:30. so i played for 4 hours straight. did super bad at the 16's tryouts but did a lot better at the 17/18's. saw a lot of people from my old team, lots of hbaans, and other people from other schools. went home and sat around cause i was so out of it. started my homework at 12. then went to sleep at 1ish. woke up at 4:30 and did my essay. then took a shower and went to school.

good job to lauren ho! 1st in the state! whoo hoo! and steph who made like 135?140? out of 170. i think thats still good! whoo!

school is so boring. grr. oh well. gotta go do hw. laterz!

what a rainy week. soo much rain. i absolutely love the rain. idk why. it just puts me in a different mood. i would love to just run and play in the rain. rain is so awesome. i know it sounds childish, but i know deep inside, u wanna run and play in the rain too hehe. i want it to rain more so that the stream at HBA would flood and engulf our campus so that we'd have no school.

vball is over for school, but club tryouts are in the weekends that are approaching. i think i'll just go back to OVC.

i want to listen to my Story of the Year songs, but i cant find the cd. grr!

new stores opened/opening in alas. i want to go shopping now! ahhh! hehe

well, that's long enough. i think xanga is getting old. but then again, without it and my space, i think i'd be bored so i guess i'll stick to it. laterz!

one week into the second quarter. 8? 7? more to go!

well, this weekend was pretty fun.

+ friday +
after volleyball, went to stephs house. went to ward and watched the grudge. GIRLS NITE OUT!!! went only w/ the girls [tracey, steph, kris, jess, jo, nikky, and nikki] no boys/boyfriends. havent done that in a while. was lots of fun.that movie was pretty good, but it had no plot. scary as hell tho. sum funny parts. lots of people were makin noise in the movie. like when the guy saw yoko and she was leaving a bloody trail and walking all funny he said "yoko ... what happened?" everyone laughed. and when the guy was going to burn down the house but put the gasoline down, everyone went "aww man!" hehe. saw the 2 losers ... i mean Lance and Justin. Matt too, but he's not a loser. then went home after it was done.

+ saturday+
woke up at 8:15 and went to ortho at 9. then my mom's car died so my dad came to the rescue. used the jumper cables to start her car cause it was her battery i think. went to costco and bought a new battery. then after my dad put it in, my mom drove me to kam for my game. first game was like 25-23, second was 13-25, and third was 23-25. so close! so now the seasons over. i played so junk. i made us lose points with 5 free balls. everytime i put one over, it went out. coach d put the first 6 people who got the game in cause everyone was late. that was kind of junk. went back to school for our potluck. and watched the varsity girls vball game. saw chad, rt, naks, ro, nate, and chris. afterwards, went to piano. then went to kahala and bought slippers from Macy's. then went to steph's house, changed, and we left to go to nikky's house. there was thunder and lightning and i was getting so scared ... then we left. this is where the real action began hehe ... we went to mark's youth group place, but no one was there. tracey's parents were getting kind of frustrated/ worried cause no one was there. but then people came. mark gave an awesome sermon. it was sooooo good. lots of HBAans went [angie, aaron, summer, eddie, stacie, jazzy, michelle, lauren l, matt, dana, shay, tracey, steph, and nicole g]. afterwards, the original plan was to go to the blaisedell haunted house. but then on the way there [nicole's dad was driving me, tracey, nicole, steph, and michelleeee], everyone says to go to the waikiki shell one. so we go there. but tracey finds out that her parents wont let her go to that one. so we're just waiting there for like 20 minutes, trying to figure things out. cause everyone wants to go to the waikiki shell one, but no one wants to leave tracey. mean while, steph's mom is on her way to buy us tickets. well, everyone leaves to go to the blaisedell, except for the 5 of us. i get a call from my dad and he says that tracey's mom called him and he's asking why we keep ch anging plans. he's all pissed off and i'm getting mad cause i'm getting yelled at. my dad didnt even have anything to do with that night. if tracey's mom never called him, then i wouldnt be in trouble, but he would have gotten mad anyway cause he doesnt like it when we change plans. so steph's mom comes and says that we cant go to the haunted house. so tracey, steph, and i go to her house and watch Dawn of the Dead. man that was such a gory movie. made li hing mui apples w/ steph. i almost cut myself with a potato peeler ... that was a close one

+ today +
went home and did nothing. was supposed to go to damon's halloween party, but my dad didnt want to drive me there. so went to dinner w/ him. that was fun.

YELLOWCARD IS COMING! AHH! this is so awesome! they're coming with New Found Glory and other bands. i'm so there!!!

well first week of school was okay. did extra credit for chem so that was a good start. had a field trip for japaense to some japanese tea house. omg i never want to drink green tea again. it was so terrible. i wanted to throw up. the little thing they had to eat was good though.

i sat with the boys at lunch a couple of days this past week. i started talking about tobasco sauce and asked if it was hot. matt and dana asked me to eat some but i said no. then matt gets 4 spoons and hands them out and all of a sudden, theres like 6 people eating just tobasco sauce. so gross. i had a little on my fork and my mouth was burning! i dont know how they can do it. crazy people ...

went to the UH volleyball game on friday night. that was fun. went to Jo's house after to pick up my stuff. her dog, mocha, got his fur all over my pants and they were black. that was funny. looked at old year book pictures. like gav in the first grade, kelci in the first grade. funny stuff.

my brother got both his ears pierced. my mom wasnt to happy. oh well. i told him to buy pretty earrings so i could borrow them ahahaha. he came home today with only one earring on and he said that one of em fell out. he asked me to put it back in but it was kind of gross since u culdnt really see the hole. so he's going to go back to where he got it pierced and ask them to do it.

starting to plan what im going to do for my birthday. it's such a hassle. i hate planning things. thats why i never did nothing during the break. i'm always too lazy to call people up and plan something.

was supposed to go to the Damien senior night thing and watch Justin and Lance, but had no ride. bummer...

my birdie flew away!!! grr. i have bad luck with pets. my first bird died, my second died, and now my third flew away. maybe i should switch pets. a dog or something? hamster? fish? no... i have a hard time with fish too. dont feed them and stuff so they die. i have those salt water shrimp stuff! haha the water is getting lower and lower. oh well. maybe i shouldnt have pets at all.

i need a break already. school is too stressful. only one week in the second quarter and i'm stressed out. gotta get better grades than next last time!

well, my team made it to the consolation round. if we won one more game, we would have been in the championship round. we needed to be atleast 9th place, and we were 10th. so close. what a bummer. congrats to the other team who made it tho.
